Triqueta is our contemporary interpretation of the Celtic "trinity knot" - a nod to Sawdust's Bureau's Irish roots but crafted from 100% Australian materials.
In pagan, Celtic religions the three branches of the Triqueta represented the tripartite division of the world; the realms of Land, Sea and Sky. In modern Christianity it morphed into symbolising the Holy Trinity and commonly features in wedding jewellery as a sign of commitment and love.
The 3 branches of the piece are locked together using floating tenon joints and inset brass pins.
* As with all Sawdust Bureau pieces, this design is made to order, therefore every aspect is fully customisable. Feel free to contact us to discuss your exact specification.
