We were commissioned by Brand/Works (the boffins behind Melbourne institutions The Reading Room and The Grain Store) to design and produce a set of outdoor seating for the Hero Subs franchise.

 

Hero are an NYC-inspired, contemporary sub sandwich concept with a 1970's sporting throwback theme to their brand; think sweatbands, afro's, knee-high socks, Harlem-Globetrotters....etc

 

Collaborating with Brand/Works on the design we concocted an idea based around old-school, American style, bleacher seating, with a pair of single-tier and a pair of double-tier bleachers providing a casual spot for customers to munch down their subs.

 

You can check out our Bleachers at the Hero Hardware Lane and Chadstone stores..... and while you are there make sure to pick up a KidRoyale sub, they are pretty epic.
